Dirty/sticky tops - We recommend soaking the pour spouts, or using a backflush adapter to allow the liquor to pour freely again Breather tube missing (AND/OR tip with the ball bearing is missing) - Breather tubes should be complete with straw, end tip, and ball bearing with the correct length of straw for accurate pouring. Mixed breather tubes (straws) . High flow grey tip tops and ABID tops should have long straws. Standard flow (black tip) should have shorter straws. Mixing these will lead to incorrect pouring. Breather tube in the wrong hole. It should be inserted into the round hole, not the crescent shaped hole. The crescent shaped hole is where the liquor pours through. If the round hole is cracked, it may not pour right either, and is an indicator it is time to replace the spout. Using a high flow top when system is calibrated for standard flow tops (or vice versa) . Grey tip and black tip pour spouts pour drastically different. We don't recommend mixing tops. Insert too small (or missing) . If the Berg top is loose in the bottle neck it will leak or mis-pour. Each insert should fit tightly in the bottle. We offer 4 different insert sizes to fix this. Shrink seal covering the breather hole (found on the outside of the berg top in the corner of the nipple and the base). If this is covered the air is restricted which will lead to incorrect pouring. Bottle not vertical when pouring . Flow is based on gravity, so if the bottle is on an angle vs straight up and down, it will pour short. System needs calibration or service. How do I view counts on a Berg 704 (no printer)?

Press the " * " and " R " buttons at the same time
Press the " S " button
Press the " X " button
Press the arrow buttons to the right of the screen to scroll through the counts (counts may show on all 4 sizes S,R,L,X for as many codes of pour spouts that you use).
Press the " S " button to exit to the main run screen.

How do I print the counts on a 704 with a printer?

Accepted Answer

Press the " * " and " R " buttons at the same time
Press the " X " button (below Z on the screen)
Depending on the software version, you will then:

If the screen says Code 1 and Exit - scroll down using the arrow buttons (right of the screen) until you have passed Code 7, then it should say [Clear] above the " S " button. Press the " S " button to print and clear.

OR

If the screen says [Print] and [View], then press the " S " button below [Print].

Printer should then print and the system counts will change to zero.

How to zero your counts on a Berg 704 (with a key)

Accepted Answer

Turn key to "OFF" position - screen will say disabled
While holding down the " R " button, turn the key to "ON".
Press the " S " button twice (The screen should momentarily say "Clearing"
Once the screen no longer says "Clearing" turn the key to "OFF" and then back to "ON." You should now be in the normal pouring mode with your default pour size (letter) on the screen.

How do I take reports on Infinity Software?

To download your data, first you will need to archive and clear your data. To do this follow the below steps:

From the main Berg Infinity screen, click reports on the top tab, and select advanced reports.
Change the "Select Report" to show "Sales Totals / Archive and clear Sales (Z)"
Change equipment name to reflect all your devices (Often named "Master Group")
Select "Not Archived" (Current)
Click "View" at the top right, and it will download the data from your systems.

Once this is downloaded, you can pull your desired reports. Follow the below steps to get what you are looking for:

Under the Select Report tab select desired report. Many people choose "Detailed Sales (X3)", but some other reports you may want to see are "Sales Totals (X1)", or "Sales By Price Levels (X2)"
Make sure your Equipment Name is still set to the devices you just downloaded previously.
Click "Show Archives" (on the lower right side of the page), and select the report you just downloaded (Usually is at the bottom of the Archive list).
Click View at the top right of the page. This will pull the report up in a new window. You can scroll between the pages with the Page up and Page down button at the top of the screen to the right of the zoom percentage.
The report can also be printed or saved as you see fit with the buttons at the top of the page.

How do I restart the schedule on Berg Infinity Software?

If your Berg Infinity software is set up with a schedule that allows for automated downloads and printing of data, follow the steps below to get the schedule back up and running.

From the main Berg Infinity screen (that has a bunch of repeating BERG logos)

At the top of the software, click "Scheduling"
Select "Schedules"
In the new box that pops up, select "Run" (if yours doesn't show "Run" as an option, give us a call to help set a new one up).
Once you click "Run", it should open a box that says "Running Schedule berg.sch" at the top. This should remain open at all times.
